Well almost, but as another tune goes, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” and I am having my annual Julfest this weekend and the decorations are all in place, so it’s all down to the cleaning, cooking and glamming up then!
And as the weather is bitterly cold everywhere across Europe right now, it’s time to introduce these sweet little knitted accessories to you, which are part of my ‘Alpine Angel’ range…….
My ‘Norge’ tre is looking rather nice also!
Firstly, let me introduce you to my new wrap around cowl, knitted in the most wonderful combination of alpaca and baby merino yarn and finished off with Swarovski crystals, very glam and very Lech indeed, it looks wonderful with my new ski jacket!
And then the sweetest little beanie, also finished off with Swarovski crystals.
Well folks, if you’re going to be walking around Lech après-ski, you need to look right!
Hope you like them?!……
And with that, I’m off to do some more cleaning and food shopping, thanks for dropping by and wrap up warm and stay inside with a nice hot drink, as it’s cold out there – just the way I like it!
Stor klem!

Just dropping by to say ‘Happy ‘Hug a Norwegian’ day till alle mine Norske venner!
It’s been a while since I hugged this very famous Norwegian guy, and as I stumbled across this photo recently, it seemed fitting to post it here today!
Wishing you all a wonderful day, plus I’d also like to wish all my American friends out there, a very ‘Happy Thanksgiving’! Have a wonderful time with loved ones and enjoy your special day also!
Hugs to you all!

No, it’s not another ‘Monty Python’ moment, just the launch of my new little legwarmers, from my ‘Alpine Angel’ range……
A lot of ladies like my Vive Maria legwarmers, but don’t want to wear them so high up the thigh and recently I've had a lot of requests for what were my original style of legwarmers, which I used to call ‘fake socks’, so I've updated them a little and made them more pretty – as you can see here – they can be worn pulled up like this…..
Or my favourite way, which is slouchy!
Pretty detailing….
Made of the softest pure merino yarn, they’re nice and delicate whilst keeping you toasty warm….
These pretty mamas retail at £38.00 for the merino yarn, £40.00 for the cashmere/merino mix, and multi coloured varieties plus P&P as usual.
Watch this space for more knitted lovelies from my 'Alpine Angel' range - kommer snart!
Ha en god helg!
Klem,
Mxx
Hei lovelies!
A number of you have asked what I have available right now, so this is what’s already finished and ready for sale…….
Dusky Pink solid colour with fluted leg
These are on a ‘one-off’ price of £60.00, plus P&P
Such pretty crocheted edgings on these…..
Vintage Chalk/Multi……
These are super pretty, I can’t begin to tell you just how lovely they are when you see them ‘for real!’
Slightly different crocheted edging….
Divine combination of contrasting colours…
These are on special of £70.00, plus P&P
Dusky Pink/camel mix……
Very similar to the first pair, expect the ankle edgings are done in a contrasting camel colour, making them just a little bit different, finished with porcelain crocheted bows…..
And just in case you can’t see it…..
Just a little different for a change…..
These are on special for £65.00, plus P&P
And last but not least……
Winter White solid……
These are one of my fave pairs to make!
These are also on special price of £65.00 plus P&P
** SOLD **
And a ‘heads up’ to the very last pair of red I’m going to knit, as whilst the colour is just wonderful, such a lovely vibrant shade, I find it too much of a strain on my eyes, so I have a pair half made, without any finishings on them, so could be made up as a solid colour, or contrasting crocheted edgings, whatever you decide, so if you want a red pair, this is your very last chance!

Many thanks for dropping by!

Very recently, a dear friend of mine passed away suddenly, and it was a great shock to all of us who knew her. She was such a special girl.
The first time I sat next to her at a concert in Manchester, back in 2010, she poked me in the arm (only she knew why, but that will lovingly remain between her and myself!) During the concert, she handed me the tiniest scrappy piece of paper, with her name on it and said to me “You will find me on Facebook, here’s my name, we have to keep in touch!” with a big excited smile on her face.
I knew we would become very good friends – sometimes you get a feeling that a person is just ‘special’ and she was indeed! The day after we linked up and since then, it has been an absolute joy to have known her, if only for such a short space of time. She was a lovely girl, a happy soul with a positive outlook on life. I miss her a lot, as I know do a lot of other special friends out there.
The last time we met up, she was talking so much about my designs and told me that she was going to order some arm warmers for winter, as she’d seen me wearing them, the very first time we met and she loved them! Funny thing was, I loved the leather jacket she was wearing on our first encounter -so much, that the next time we met up in May of this year, I bought one – just like hers!
Sadly, I will never have the privilege of making them for her now, so the best thing I could think of, was to name my new design in her memory, as I know she would have looked fabulous in them – with her leather jacket!
And so here they are, my latest arm warmer design, named ‘Ute’ in memory of a lovely woman, who passed through my life and left me with many happy memories!
I know you would have loved these, sweet girl…….
Many Thanks for dropping by……
Stor klem!
