VIVE MARIA–The story continues……

SANEH VIVE MARIAS 2

*doeshappydance*

I have been soo excited about these pretties for a long while now!  My beautiful Vive Maria Legwarmers have been in the making since March this year, when I had a thought in mind, then came the whole process of designing and knitting them up.

The first pair finally came to fruition in August, and since then, I’ve been revising the pattern, till I finally arrived at the right sizings etc. I’ve knitted a fair few pairs now, so I guess you could say that I could knit them with my eyes closed – but then again, I’d better not! Winking smile

Modelling them for me here is a beautiful lady from Sweden, who has a wonderful blog called ‘Early Morning Prose’,  which is worth dropping by for a look-see, and you can find it here……

VIVE MARIA LEGWARMERS CHALK1

And here they are! Such pretty detailing, with a crocheted ankle edge and ties up the back, finished off with pretty bows at the side of the leg, but what I really think is sweet is…

VIVE MARIA LEGWARMERS CHALK5

What I call the crocheted ‘garter’ edge at the top of the leg – flirty and cute indeed!

VIVE MARIA LEGWARMERS CHALK3

Back and front detail – and there’s lots of it!

VIVE MARIA LEGWARMERS CHALK7

Like these sweet little charms! ‘Made with a smile!’ are a ‘one-off’ tho and this pair are for sale right now!

More about them later tho…….

And here’s some more in a lovely dark grey colour, complete with powder colour crocheted bows…….

VIVE MARIA LEGWARMERS DK GREY4

They look fabulous on!

There’s a lot of hard work goes into these, but they truly are a labour of love for me to make!

Hope you like them?! Smile

More information later today, regarding which ones are for sale, including prices etc, etc......

Thanks for dropping by, have a fun day!

Stor klem til deg!

  1. This are gorgeous! I wish my legs were nice enough to warrant drawing attention to them with those hehe

The hand warmers below however are something I might consider :D Very envious of your knitting skills, sadly mine are lacking...

  3. I'm so interested on those in dark grey, but how is your sizing? Saneh's legs are smaller than mine. Do you make these in different sizes?
These legwarmers are just so cute and handy with dresses at a cold winter day.

  5. Hi Tarleena!

I've had to standardise the pattern now, as I had too many revisions going on, so like most companies who make legwarmers, I've had to go with a 'one size fits all'policy. However, with this pair, they were done when I was making revisions to the pattern, so they came out a little bigger than Sanehs, and the dimensions on these are:

    Length - 57com

Top of leg width - 46cm comfortably (without elastic)

If they required elastication for you, I can do this, but so far, not every customer has wanted it - now you see why I just can't do a revision on these every time I make them - for one thing, it gets mighty confusing! LOL

Hope this helps? If you want any more information, please contact me on my email address here, which is......

    Many Thanks for your enquiry!
